UP Weather Update: In Uttar Pradesh, there is extremely hot weather going on. People are stuck inside their homes because of this scorching heat. The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) is worried that in the month of June, temperatures in most parts of the country could be higher than normal.
People are wondering what the weather will be like today in the state. They are also eagerly waiting for the monsoon to arrive in Uttar Pradesh.
UP Weather Update: In which areas of UP will there be severe heat wave today?
The National Disaster Alert Portal has sent alert messages for some cities in Uttar Pradesh. These alerts are related to a heatwave. According to the message, there is a possibility of a severe heatwave in Agra, Aligarh, Etawah, Firozabad, Gautam Buddha Nagar, Ghaziabad, Jalaun, Jhansi, Lalitpur, and Mathura today, which is 28th May. This means that people in these areas may have to face extreme heat.

Red alert issued regarding heatwave
According to the weather department, a red alert has been issued for several districts in the state on 28th and 29th May due to heatwave. This includes districts like Gautam Buddh Nagar, Aligarh, Mathura, Mahamaya Nagar, Agra, Firozabad, Etawah, Auraiya, Jalaun, Hamirpur, Mahoba, Jhansi, and Lalitpur, along with Ghaziabad.
When will monsoon enter UP?
In Uttar Pradesh, it is estimated that the monsoon may arrive a bit late this year and may not be as intense as usual. In Kerala, the monsoon is expected to arrive by May 30th.
It is predicted that the eastern parts of Uttar Pradesh may experience the arrival of monsoon around June 20th. So, you can say that the monsoon rains will be seen around June 20th.
