According to the India Meteorological Department, there is no relief from the heat in Delhi. In fact, today, which is Sunday, the temperature will increase even more due to the intense heat of the sun, with the maximum temperature possibly reaching 48 degrees Celsius.
The weather department has issued a red alert regarding the heatwave. The department’s report suggests that heatwaves are expected in many areas, while the weather will remain clear during this time. However, there is a possibility of dusty winds in the afternoon. During this time, the wind speed can reach 20 to 30 kilometers per hour.

Many parts of the country are experiencing unprecedented heat waves
In many parts of the country, there is extremely hot weather with temperatures reaching up to 50 degrees Celsius in places like Falodi in Rajasthan. However, there is continuous rainfall in southern states of India.
The weather department has issued warnings for heavy rain in states like Kerala, Andhra Pradesh, and Karnataka until May 28th. Additionally, warnings have been issued for heatwaves in Vidarbha, Madhya Pradesh, Himachal Pradesh, and Jammu region. Delhi is also expected to have intense heatwaves until May 28th.
